Frictions at BPS22

This sculpture Lies about the good direction is made in a reflection of having believed in the good advice of others, only to be convinced that years have been lost when I have not followed the voice of my heart. The eternal milk boy, is the child's inner superhero, taking the highway up the wall and portraying what childhood means to parents. Is he not taken seriously when he finds his own path?

Milk debt

In an effort to free yourself from what you owe to your mother. Your mother has nurtured you during the first years of your life.  How can we quantify our mother’s unlimited love and all that she has given from her body to you?

I came across this old Buddhist concept of milk debt when I was exploring my own feelings and thoughts about indebtedness and debt, which over time has become more and more like a string around the neck.
I have grown from these thousands of liters of mother’s milk, so easily denied, given with big sorrow. To even imagine the price of her tenderness, I had to give each drop the strength it had in gesture of an installation in order to perceive its gravity and value as something real.
